I think that it means that the team is cautious in their predictions. So I am hopeful that when they are optimistic about upgrades, that means those upgrades will be able to push them forward.
Also it means that they can get on top of the setup quicker than Ferrari or some other teams. We were good in sprints last year for the same reason.
