I don't think Paul Ricard - surely the circuit buildings would be on the other side of the track if this is the pit straight. If it's the back straight, Ayrton is going the wrong way :D

My first thought was Tripoli...but I don't think they ran as late as the car pictured.

It is in fact Tripoli 1939.
I'm not sure but I believe that may be Rudolf Caracciola in a slightly modified Mercedes-Benz W 154 Silver Arrow. the track was called "Mellaha Lake"
