This is where I stopped reading your post.
What has Jos to do with Newey leaving RBR?
Why is Jos a very toxic personality? Give me some examples please. Thanks.

After a 1998 incident at a karting track in which a man suffered a fractured skull, Verstappen and his father, Frans, were found guilty in court of assault but were each given a five-year suspended jail sentence after reaching an out-of-court settlement with the victim.[34]
In December 2008, with the couple effectively separated, Verstappen appeared in court in Tongeren, Belgium, charged with assaulting his wife, Sophie Kumpen.[35] He was found not guilty of assault, but guilty of threatening Kumpen in text messages and of violating a previously issued restraining order. He was fined and sentenced to three months probational, suspended prison sentence.[36]
On 29 November 2011, the media reported allegations that Verstappen had assaulted his ex-girlfriend; Verstappen claimed to only have had a discussion with her.[37] In January 2012, he was arrested on attempted murder charges following accusations that he drove a car into his ex-girlfriend in Roermond,[38] but released two weeks later after the charge was withdrawn.[39] Verstappen and his ex-girlfriend, Kelly van der Waal, got back together and were married in 2014. They have one daughter, Blue Jaye, born in September 2014.[40] They divorced on 2 June 2017.
your choice, it's upto you to read further or not.
My post was not about Newey leaving, it was about the speculation around the team imploding from within and how this forum is busy assigning what led to what chain of events.

F1-insider is as bad as TheJudge13 for peddling clickbait news. It seems they were punting on the eventuality to happen today, which hasn't yet. Just like Horner was supposed to have been fired in February, well before the launch of the car.
The intention was to announce it yesterday, but since it was the anniversary of the death of Roland Ratzenberger
and today of Ayrton Senna, it was postponed until tomorrow out of respect.
I guess F1-insider didn't keep a decent "F1 events of Significance" calendar.
The way I have interpreted that is he has stepped down from F1 duties as of now - and will focus on the RB17 for a year when it’s expected to be complete.
I'd say there is no gardening leave after that. He won't he involved anymore in any way with design of next years car effective from today (end of first Quarter more or less) so i guess Ferrari can pick him from Q2 25 on.
yeah that’s how I read it too this is basically his gardening leave he will continue with the HyperCar and step away from F1 in the mean timeAesop wrote: ↑01 May 2024, 11:26I'd say there is no gardening leave after that. Entirely depends on if it is start or end of Q1 or some date in the middle. The latest another team can have him work on the books would be Q2 2025 which would be April 1st but it could be earlier in Q1. Still with work starting on the 2026 cars as of Jan 2025 there is nothing stopping Newey from looking at it and coming up with ideas in his own time.Aesop wrote: ↑01 May 2024, 11:26I'd say there is no gardening leave after that.
