Amanda and Adrian Newey in Miami today.
He's brought the hit squad with him - woe betide anyone who gives Adrian hassle when she's around.Wouter wrote: ↑03 May 2024, 16:48Amanda and Adrian Newey in Miami today.

I can certainly be impressed that their simulations created a wing that was good for 30% of the season. And not just so and so good, they have achieved good results overall.Vanja #66 wrote:It's a good wing overall to be honest. It's less of a mistake to use it here than Jeddah, since they are also using one-piece beam wing like Jeddah. Few weeks ago I said they should use low level wing in Miami, but I forgot it's a Sprint weekend, so it's quite a big risk if it's not as good. Completely different setups for two different downforce levels.
I expect it will be used in half the races. Imola, Canada, Austria, Silverstone, Zaandvort and Abu Dhabi are almost guaranteed. Texas and Qatar are not out of the question if they find more downforce from the 3rd or 4th floor update - which is ultimately the reason behind cost cutting
Perhaps a low downforce wing in Austria, Belgium and Baku?Vanja #66 wrote: ↑03 May 2024, 17:28I expect it will be used in half the races. Baku and Belgium yes. Austria no, 99% just the one-piece beam wing like one that will be used here. Monza and Vegas are Monza-level wings. Monaco, Barcelona, Hungary, Singapore, Mexico and Brasil should see higher downforce package.
Yep .. weird thing, seemed the reverse did no longer work
