Even at 48 C they need 2 laps to get the tyres up to temp.

Not really, it was just their usual approach with a banker lap first and a push lap later.

Higher temps meant only RedBull and Ferrari could find significant gains on the softs. McLaren dropped the ball hard in SQ3 but it could be that softs do not work on their car here.

Pretty satisfied with quali performance with what is essentially a launch-spec car. Everyone else has significantly upgraded their car at least once.

Haven't seen anything, it wasn't important. With whole new set of PU components on both cars, I was afraid Leclerc's mechanics had another one of their episodes and messed something up in assembly. This remains the only fear I have going into upcoming seasons, Brasil was not that long ago and Bahrain even less...
