Leclerc has been keeping pace with Verstappen on slightly older hards. I think if he didn't get mugged by Piastri at the start, he'd probably have a different race altogether.
We are weak in the first few laps, especially Charles.

Hopefully the upgrades help in this regard as well.

Sainz's pace fairly close to Lando.

Can't wait until these upgrades are fitted.

I wonder what it is about Miami S2 that makes the last three cars, all with very different characteristics struggle there.

Ferrari suffers from low speed understeer.
It was highlighted in Bahrain already.

I think it’s been a decent day! The safety car couldn’t have come at a worse time. Apart from that, pace has actually been almost the same as VER. Piastri ****** up the first stint a bit, but the key is definitely being able to stay with the RBR over the first few laps, as once the race settles in there doesn’t appear to be a big difference.

The F1-75 and SF23 did not. Both were ughhh in s2.

Unlucky with the Safety Car. MCL and Lando absolutely took this away from everyone else though.

I don't think it was disappointing, could have gone better but we also have no updates and we're on pace with Max and RBR. A podium is a podium in my book.

I wish we were as lucky with SC at least once when fighting for victory. That never happens though.

Charles sealed his fate with that weak defense to Piastri, since he couldn't overtake him he was forced to undercut.

Pace was the same as Max, Sainz a bit disappointing when you look at Lando on fresher tires blowing the doors off everybody.

Yeah he struggles a lot in the first few laps. Same in China.

He could've defended harder, but poor traction out of T16 didn't help.

I still think the car on super heavy fuel really struggles, traction out of T16 was awful those first few laps. Hopefully upgrades can help, but also the bad start wasn't ideal either. Honestly, pace was still pretty good, Charles got very unlucky with the VSC and SC, we go to Imola w another podium and more hope!

Charles lapped 1:31.0 towards the end, same as Norris, but on 12 laps (?) older tires. Basically as fast as Max in the last stint, but again, on older tires.

Overall happy with the performance. Charles got unlucky with the VSC, but podium safed. Also the 1.9 second pit stop should be noticed.

The suffering in S2 was not a surprise considering the stiffer suspension setup this year. I'm sure it's going to be adressed with one of the upgrades coming.

100% agree!! We never get the rub of the green with Safety Cars. Either pit just before, or on the wrong strategy.

I would be shocked if it wasn't since both drivers said it was the main focus of the upgrade.
