Fired allegedly.
He was fired to make way for Resta and Enrico Sampo, they were able to join Merc earlier than expected (October) , there was an agreement between Merc and Ferrari to let Loic Serra and Jerome D’Ambrosio join Ferrari at the same time.
He sounds Italian.. I think he got pulled "back home" into Ferrari when he caught wind of the big plans over there.
He was there six year, but he was only the aero chief since October 2023!! He wasn't fired just so. I think he simply resigned in his failures than get fired. That would be a bit harsh wouldn't it?
Since October 2022. He'd be responsible for the 2023 and 2024 aero. Wonder who filled in for Blandin from July 2022 while Vino was promoted in October?PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 04:51He was there six year, but he was only the aero chief since October 2023!! I still don't understand this title system in the teams specially for the aero roles,K1Plus wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 09:35Since October 2022. He'd be responsible for the 2023 and 2024 aero. Those two teams giving their best and being able to be better with fraction of resources gives you no right to call them "dollar store cars".PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑18 May 2024, 17:21Upgrades and still getting out-qualified by dollar store cars like Haas and RB.
