He said they went in a different set up direction after FP1. FP3 will tell. The package is new so makes sense to try different things.

One thing about Charles on board, is he didn't get a flap adjust through FP1 or 2 (maybe in pits during refueling). He requested a change at the end of FP1 but Bryan shut him down as it was too late.

Any reason they are running a new PU in Charles for free practice rather than the 1st PU they have? Save some mileage on a new engine. Normally they get put in between FP3 and qualifying, or just before FP3.

according to sky Italia it is likely that they want to use PU1 for the whole Monaco weekend. also for the race.

Perez ruined everyone's quali at the end of the session. Ferrari didn't really get an opportunity to do a quali sim.

its gonna be either a 3-way fight between ferrari,max, mclaren or max leading the qualy by .5 sec.. but leclerc seem to be quite agressive today is't it? like he was over taking stroll during a push, and again at the end over taking being very aggressive.. very odd we have not seen that before.

How do you hear that an engine is running detuned? Does it take longer to rev out a gear or something? How do they even detune the engines? Do they primarily run lower boost?
