This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
I don't think Max will care at all if he's friends with Lando or whoever. I just hope Lando is lucky with the start and doesn't get in trouble. P2 is cursed here, I literally can't remember the last time P2 finished P2 or P1 here. They always lose positions.
Wouldn't surprise me if Ferrari starts on softs.
no matter which tires, they need to undercut Verstappen with one car and overcut with the other, I think. Same for McLaren.

A soft start would be good for position, but would necessitate an early stop. That would put you in traffic, and kill any advantage, if the tyre of choice for the midfield was the medium
It's a coin toss, whatever they decide they need split strategies. Oscar in P5 is on the clean side and will be targeting Sainz in P4, Lando is in the suicide seat and needs good traction and hope to live with Charles on his inside in turn 1. Of course chaos may reign...... It wouldn't be a big surprise if the papaya cars are in reversed order after the start. I have a strong feeling the McLarens have the potential to run long going by FP2 long runs on Friday and on the evidence of Miami. How we can benefit will come down to getting the opportunities - SCs, pitstops etc and getting into fresh air. Sometimes it doesn't run for you and everyone here goes "why didn't they...............???"
God damn how I missed that anxious feeling for the start of each race with Mclaren challenging for a win on merit and now I'm not even sure my heart can take it.

And with all the gravel traps - safety car is likely.
