We'll see whether hope is not all yet lost, or rather, hope dies last... One of the two.
Depends on how you look at it. When they say it's a correlation issue. I believe they're taking responsibility. It's their job to correlate it. It's a way of saying somewhere the air is moving in a way we're not expecting it too (in the CFD) but we don´t know where. They may have an idea of which area but not the specifics.selvam_e2002 wrote: ↑22 May 2024, 17:18I think the CFD is an excuse for all the team in F1 if the car is not good. They blame the system however the system is developed by human. No one willing to accept the failure. This is how it works in real world.
The series Drive to Survive showed the hard management of Lawrence, he gave Otmar something like 5 min to explain low performances, imagine Dan and Krack giving him feedbacks lol
I don't agree, krack is not to blame for me. A team principal doesn't deal with the performance of the car and in any case I think Krack is doing a good job in terms of image and also of feeling with the drivers etc. Binotto, let's forget it, I don't even want to express myself. I didn't trust my instincts once before when Alpine took Otmar, I'm sorry but this time I couldn't forgive It.Nikosar wrote: ↑22 May 2024, 21:53The series Drive to Survive showed the hard management of Lawrence, he gave Otmar something like 5 min to explain low performances, imagine Dan and Krack giving him feedbacks lol
Binotto have way more experience than Krack, a change can give team a shock and extra motivation.
However he refused Sauber/Audi and Alpine so not sure he will accept. He was spotted at Imola btw.
Anyways many think that a change of TP will be made before 2026.
Think Binotto is too technical to waste as a TD.xReVo wrote: ↑23 May 2024, 02:27I don't agree, krack is not to blame for me. I agree. Binotti imo should be on the engineering side.diffuser wrote: ↑23 May 2024, 03:17Think Binotto is too technical to waste as a TD.xReVo wrote: ↑23 May 2024, 02:27I don't agree, krack is not to blame for me. But do you know if they are at least good engineers, the impact they have on the teams? I don't believe so, so no one can know this. The only thing that can be done is to deduce it, 2022 Alpine A522 engine do you remember it? As far as Ferrari is concerned, we have a 2020 engine. Do you remember it? And the one in 2022, with reliability problems? Among other things, the new 2026 regulations are focused on electric, something that neither Ferrari nor Alpine excelled at.
