Mclaren continue to look a different car in slow corners, not no 1 but very good.

Bravo to both Oscar and Lando. Fantastic laps. Now they need to try and maybe squeeze more time out of the car and do that on Q3 and it's a possible pole position and maybe 1-2. You never know.

Yeah well. It's established that the car is as good as any at Monaco today. Q3, for pole, at this track is a unique challenge though and to be frank, pole is not based on cars today.

This is all about which driver can get the job done.

Driver's really starting to push it to the limit now. With margins so tight it's up to who can take the most risks without binning now.

Fitting do not jinx it. Let's all hope that nothing happened and he just simply touched the wall. We need one more of those good laps, maybe try and see if you can find a tenth or two more and we might have an 1-2 for Monaco which will be a great tribute to Senna. Our drivers have to try and get 1 or 2 more tenths.

No significant damage on Oscar's car. He whacked a barrier in S3, there's some margin for him if he can keep it out of the walls.

It's not engine modes, more likely fuel and sensible driving, not risking damage, as well as some setup.

I am pretty sure it was fuel more than engine modes. The car looked so sluggish on slower stuff when I looked at it onboard. Clearly they were running much heavier than others and knew they had quite a bit in the bag. I did not expect this to be honest, I believed they would struggle much more than this, but it seems like they're in the mix.

Ouch. Lando might need to use the used set on that first run and then bolt the new one. The Mercedes also have 1 used set and 1 new set.
