Great result.

It is possible Sainz gets a penalty for impeding Albon? - this would be great strategically as two cars could try to beat Leclerc through strategy.

Looking forward to tomorrow.
If he doesn't get a penalty for that when Oscar was less in the way last week, then something is up
You never know with the F1 stewards. They are inconsistent, fickle, beings after all.

Just wondering if the Piastri critiques have anything to say after being fast enough for 2 front rows in 2 weeks?

I must say great effort from the team. Mclaren vs Ferrari tomorrow and I believe everything can happen. Once again I'm afraid we have the wrong Mclaren in second place but let's see.
have you been watching Oscar lately? you're havin a laugh arnt you?
given tyre deg isnt too much issue, id say we got the right mclaren where it deserved to be

I hope you are right but he still has some way to go to match Lando in tyre preservance. I hope I'm mistaken though and Oscar gives a mighty performance.

Well, I told you that McLaren will be competitive, Emag. Everything is more than good. I'm completely satisfied with both Oscar's and Lando's timing. Well done! I hope that tomorrow the team will collect many more points.

Lando's time last year was 1:12.254. Today it turned out 1:10.4...1:10.5. Very good progress in one year.

It is great to see him doing so well. And seeing Lando, i would say this is also beneficial to him as well since it makes him push and perform.

Imagine what a mistake would be joining Alpine though.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

Anyone knows what happened between Sainz and Lando? Lando said that Sainz impedded him. Is it possible that it costed him a possible pole?

It's surprising to me the RedBull was struggling again, but to be honest it's more or less what I expected. They are lacking quite a bit to Leclerc on that final sector. Of course, if you pull together the ideal lap its not that far, but Leclerc can consistently be fast there which means the car is easier to get laptime out of in that section.

I think this proves car has a large setup window and can be set up to be a monster in slow corners. Now they need to build a car (or learn to set it up) that can do both slow and fast stuff at the same time.

Thanks to Mark Webber for trusting McLaren and making that decision for Oscar being in McLaren. Also it was right decision to replace Daniel because he wasn't getting the performance out of the car nor pushing Lando to perform better.
