Well, I told you that McLaren will be competitive, Emag. Everything is more than good. I'm completely satisfied with both Oscar's and Lando's timing. Well done! I hope that tomorrow the team will collect many more points.
It's surprising to me the RedBull was struggling again, but to be honest it's more or less what I expected. They are lacking quite a bit to Leclerc on that final sector. Of course, if you pull together the ideal lap its not that far, but Leclerc can consistently be fast there which means the car is easier to get laptime out of in that section.
Agree with you. But you must admit, everything went very well for McLaren. I'm glad.

Just wondering if the Piastri critiques have anything to say after being fast enough for 2 front rows in 2 weeks?
It is great to see him doing so well. And seeing Lando, i would say this is also beneficial to him as well since it makes him push and perform.

Imagine what a mistake would be joining Alpine though.
Thanks to Mark Webber for trusting McLaren and making that decision for Oscar being in McLaren. Also it was right decision to replace Daniel because he wasn't getting the performance out of the car nor pushing Lando to perform better.
Indeed.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

I think this proves car has a large setup window and can be set up to be a monster in slow corners. Now they need to build a car (or learn to set it up) that can do both slow and fast stuff at the same time.
Well, in general, this is already working out. The previous two weekends have shown that the McL38B does not have any obvious weaknesses. The next update is designed for slow corners, which should allow you to choose the best settings without being limited by trade-offs between slow and fast corners.

Check the telemetry, he lost some time in S3 but the most was S2 and turn 1. He lost more time in S1 than S3, all down to that first turn and the exit.

Ultimately, this was down to the drivers I think and today Piastri didn't quite have enough. But I think there can be no doubt now about his quality.

If he doesn't get a penalty for that when Oscar was less in the way last week, then something is up
Not seen anything of it yet. Is it bad?
Pretty bad IMO

I know it’s a still but due to the proximity of the 2 cars even in a freeze frame surely that’s a slam dunk 3 place drop

Did Lando complain about getting impeded by Sainz?

I think Piastri will surprise many people in Monaco, but we need to see how everything works for them, Miami updates improved the nature of their setup window

Leclerc was furious today and out of sync with the rest of the grid on how much he was pushing and risking. Gaps were exaggerated and will drop tomorrow and McLaren will be fighting at the top. Not the extended top 5, "just" the regular Top 3 :)
Called it, hehe 8)

Great job by everyone in McLaren, it was really close today, good tussle :D Good luck tomorrow
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

So it seems like Piatsri lost pole at Turn 12.

Entering Turn 12 he was ahead 2 tenths up on his previous lap, he lost all that time at the end of S2 then then had to start clawing time back. granted Ferrari are slightly quicker in S3, but it wasn't the decider, pole was ours but for that one mistake. Turn 12 is the section just before the big white line. The car had the pace but it wasn't our day.

I rather think we stand a strong chance of the win at Monaco. Not sure if it will turn out that way, but my feeling is that we will benefit from a focussed low speed set up and the car will eat up the track.

Now watch me jinx it.
Not only did I call it, but I jinxed it too, Vanja

But hey you got there one day earlier so you get the big prize
