Actually we have the inside line and isn't the clean side on the inside line with more rubber? I saw most cars passing from the inside line today.
It depends. Not always. A week ago, here on the forum, some said that for Lando, the second position at the start is the worst of the top 3. But the start of the race showed that everything was fine. Competent work when releasing the clutch and good reaction give a good gain.

Verstappen vs Piastri's telemetry is quite interesting. They are largely the same pace throughout the lap and even having success in the same areas of the track. But Verstappen seems to be awful through Nouvelle which accounts for most of the delta to Piastri.

hes been talking about that to his team all weekend, hasnt he? turns 5 and 10 and also (even more so) the final corner if you compare him with piastri.

He enters and exits the final two corners with the same gap so this looks the same. Turn 5 looks fine, 6 he loses a little. It's nip and tuck through the lap apart from 10. No idea what he's said in general it's just interesting that their laps are very similar.

tempting to start Lando on softs as Ferrari are wary of Mclarens race pace by all accounts. It may at least force Sainz hand and get him off oscars back

It’s better to start on medium and ride as long as possible, then switch to soft. This is provided that it is realistic to drive the first segment of 50 laps.

dont think (and more importantly Pirelli dont think) Medium/soft is viable. It can be soft and hard or medium and hard for a 2 stop.
edit, sorry, i meant for a 1 stop

It's a pity though that Sainz wasn't rightfully penalized. I guess today's stewards felt Spanish Friendly instead of British friendly .

Sucks about the Sainz no-penalty, we get screwed over again I guess
Y'all are seriously complaining after Piastri got away with running Sainz off the track in Miami?

There wasn't even a Mclaren involved in the incident here and you're claiming you're the victim? lol
