Honestly I think Max will win 75% of the remaining races and the other 25% by a mix of teams.
Said it countless times....The way Max handles a safety car restart in many many many years, even post 2021, is absolutely unrivalled.AR3-GP wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 22:27When Norris led the restart in Miami, Max was alongside him into T1. When Max led the 2nd restart in Canada, he pulled 8 tenths on Norris before they even reached the brake zone for T1.
Many drivers can do fast laps, few execute all of small technical details that can be decisive for winning a race.
Max is great no doubt but norris actually passed him on the track for the lead until the strategy saved him he could have still won but that speculation.he didn't do enough to save the tires on wet race.redbull are battlehardened the learned that during their championship yearsRikhart wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 22:16Verstappen is just an anomaly in Formula 1 at this point, for anyone to beat him, they need a car advantage right now.
Perez on the other hand is a complete tool, a useless driver. It is beyond me how they extended his contract. Half the grid would do a better job.
Id disagree the strategy saved Max. Did McLaren leave Norris out too long? Mega close and was the fact Max had warmer tyres and the racing line that he got 1st back.Bill wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 22:38Max is great no doubt but norris actually passed him on the track for the lead until the strategy saved him he could have still won but that speculation.he didn't do enough to save the tires on wet race.redbull are battlehardened the learned that during their championship yearsRikhart wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 22:16Verstappen is just an anomaly in Formula 1 at this point, for anyone to beat him, they need a car advantage right now.

Safety car saved Max as Lando was unable to pit because SC was thrown after Lando passed pit entry and then was caught by the SC (unlike in Miami).chrisc90 wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 22:43Id disagree the strategy saved Max. But you can then argue that the last safety car Norris had 3 lap newer tyres, so was advantage Norris. Strategy didnt save that or Max pulling a good lead in the last laps of the race.
Lando was 2/3 way up the final straight when the safety car come out. Lando even questioned boxing, but his engineer was probably half a second too slow in bringing him in. So it wasn't the safety car that saved map on lap 26. Land could have called box box box when he seen the lights which would have scrambled a waiting pit crew holding station after a yellow flag. Mega late call, but would have worked.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 22:57Safety car saved Max as Lando was unable to pit because SC was thrown after Lando passed pit entry and then was caught by the SC (unlike in Miami).chrisc90 wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 22:43Id disagree the strategy saved Max. Without that SC being thrown exactly after Lando passed the pit entry, Lando stays P1 after the pitstops and they have to fight it out on track. Because SC fell wrong for Lando he ended up in P3 after his pitstop. Without SC at all Lando had 10s lead but probably they would bunch up at some time.
