Lack of focus by someone.

I wonder why no one is focusing on the new aero element at the front of the sidepod? Very interesting. If it does not connect with the floor, it can create a nice vortex to combine or support the spinning up off the floor. Or, just clean up the flow a bit.

Are you talking about the orange fabric, the material of which is similar to that used to make seat belts or handles for bags and briefcases? This is a kind of imitation nylon. Also commonly called slings.

I'd not noticed before quite how much the front wing endplates angle outwards at the rear to push away the air on the outside of the wing and create a low pressure zone in front of the tyres that helps the loaded airflow coming over and away the front wing get pulled further away from the tyre.

I was sitting at the exit of the hairpin this weekend and every time Lando was slowing down to enter the hairpin his car sounded like an airplane. He was the only one that sounded like this. I could not tell if it was brakes or if they were doing something different with harvesting on his car. As soon as he came into view you could hear a super loud whistle like an F22 engine. Oscars car did not sound like that either.
