It is going to be very strong for Mercedes. I put my hat in, Mercedes will be on pole. Which betting site must I use?

Interesting. For me, their strong performace in Montreal doesn't tell us much about how competitive they will be in Barcelona. The two tracks only have the long straight in common but nothing else; we don't yet know how the W15 will fair on high and medium speed corners.

I think Red Bull or Ferrari for pole, Merc potentially fighting for a podium

What makes you think that? Data reveals that McLaren has good tire wear, high top speed, and is as good or better than RB on medium and high speed corners, so I should think they'd be the favorties for pole/podium. What makes you think Mercedes is going to perform well?

Besides Miami, have we seen the upgraded McLaren in hot conditions? I guess Miami was a good testbut that track is kind of an outlier, so I'm curious to see how that car goes on a hot track.

Miami was not just quite warm, but also was supposed to expose Mclaren's previous biggest weakness - slow corners.

The fact that they excelled there was most of the evidence we needed to assume they're gonna be competitive everywhere, not that all the race weekends since haven't stacked that evidence quite well.

This weekend will demonstrate a lot. Mclaren themselves dont understand why their update was as successful as it was, so it's possible a certain combination of characteristics and conditions will dampen them, but I definitely wouldn't be putting money on it at this point.

Nice but a bit unreliable as some teams call upgrades circuit specific or reliability when they're clearly not.. so a bit of obfuscation there
