It’s brilliant the cars are so close just a damn shame the cars will be changing again after next year they should have left the regs alone for a bit longer

Max had a slipstream for Q3 final run, topped out at 330kph so even without the deficit on start-finish it was not enough to beat McLaren/Norris.

So without the tow, the gap is more like 1 tenth

Yes because Max’s cars have been way out of reach in race mode since 2022…

I don’t expect anything different tomorrow! Max will easily win!

Zak Brown just said that Norris had a bit of a tow (from Sainz) as well

It was more S2 that did the damage. Norris was almost 2 tenths quicker through there which the Rb20 could not do

Five races ago everyone were saying this is not worth watching until new regs came in, let's see if it stays this close.

McLaren has been the faster car since Miami on paper. Norris himself said they were faster than RB at Imola and Canada. Miami, Monaco obvious. This is just another confirmation right?
You will never know this as a fact. You cant separate driver from car in two different cars.

Norris is just downplaying himself as usual.

Yup. Someone new comes in and wants to impose their philosophy. I think these cars are really coming into our as far as how they look on track. And maybe they can't fight as closely as '22 but they are still better than '17-'21 which was still not that bad

I agree, but the pattern speaks. Consistently McLaren are the fastest and in the opinion of drivers and team principal of both RB and McLaren.

RB used a tow here in q3 up to 330kph and still wasn't enough. So 0.02s more like 0.1s.

I’ve said it a ton of times but people didn’t wanna listen!

-Verstapen isn’t a great qualifier! There’s your answer…

On a side note:

-“sabotage emails” show up! Hamilton suddenly destroys the life out of Russell! Just a coincidence probably eh?
compared to perez or his former teammate that viewpoint doesnot hold water.the redbull car is geared toward race pace because the regulation makes overtaking easy that what redbull have said.

I think one more year of this should be enough to quench my sporting thirst, and technologially the cars have been extremely boring with thes regs so I cannot wait to see the back of these cars!
