well, let's see; Marko said to expect a lot also from Imola upgrade, so
I think all of the aero work was masked by circuits that didn’t suit the car due to bumps, curbs, and lower speed corners. Even on those circuits, you could see glimpses of the aero doing its job. Tamburello, the speed in the higher speed stuff in Spain, Austria S3 qualy.

Now the just need a consistent balance across the race distance.

Red Bull is launching its fourth major upgrade this year in Silverstone. In 2023, one was enough. In Milton Keynes, the new parts are expected to deliver a lot. Wind tunnels and simulations are producing promising figures.
Do you have a link to the source? I'd like to read the whole article, but somehow can't find it on AMuS' website.

Rain forecast for Friday, not good if you're introducing big upgrades.

Really? And they choose a weekend of a new upgrade to do this?

They are less interested in Perez' feedback. Most important is what Max thinks. And Hadjar can perfectly run aero rakes / do some aero test if needed.

At Perez’s current form - hadjar will probably do a better job

Well, could be, but at least Perez is used to the car, and I suppose would be a better judge of the changes...

And a weekend that is quite likely to see a damp/wet FP1...current forecast isn't great for Friday morning.

"Floor body" and "floor edge" were part of Imola upgrade, let's see which part they will modify this time.

And this is the first regulation change with the budget cap in place. The starting conditions were never as equal as right now.
.
No there was a cap in '21 going into '22

Red Bull has prepared a significant update for the RB20 for the British round, which will include the floor and diffuser , among other components .
Over the course of the season, Red Bull's advantage over the competition has shrunk significantly, from four tenths over Ferrari in Sakhir and Jeddah to just under a tenth over McLaren in Spielberg. The RB20, however, appears to have made progress in the fast sections, and maintains an advantage in the slow sections and with open DRS over the competition, which made Austria a perfect stage for the characteristics of the Milton Keynes car. According to what formu1a.uno has learned, Pierre Wache's engineers will introduce a significant package of developments that will also involve the macro components of the floor and diffuser of the RB20 .
On the flying lap the advantage in terms of Power Unit that Verstappen enjoys with the Honda engine could make the difference.
