Our tyre treatment (difficulty in warm up) is very detrimental to wet performance currently.Sphere3758 wrote: ↑06 Jul 2024, 09:33So, are we praying for wet conditions this qualifying and race ? Everyone talking the high speed corners slower should work in our favor
I don’t think that is an issue anymore to be honest. We have not had issue with sector 1 performance since the upgrade.CaribouBread wrote: ↑06 Jul 2024, 10:25Our tyre treatment (difficulty in warm up) is very detrimental to wet performance currently.Sphere3758 wrote: ↑06 Jul 2024, 09:33So, are we praying for wet conditions this qualifying and race ? You make a good point and something I haven't given much attention to, I'll keep an eye out for this. Lets see.Sphere3758 wrote: ↑06 Jul 2024, 10:35I don’t think that is an issue anymore to be honest. They were even sending Leclerc out on cold tyres in Austria during qualifying
Ferrari will bring the two different packages to the track again today, then to the race (barring any last-minute changes). Sainz will continue with the Imola Spec, Leclerc with the Spain Spec package. So similar work to what Racing Bulls did in Austria.
What a disaster. At this point they need as much testing as possible.
F1tv said that Charles is running the Spain spec right now.
Will Buxton stood infront the Ferrari garage just said it’s the same as yesterday. Still split choices
Mb this was a plan? they see big % for wet condition, and goin for it?
