Its designed by the same man, so ofc there will be resemblance to the Valkyrie, but if you take a closer look, there's also a lot of differences

Newey stated that RB isn't doing the engine and that a third party is. It looks like at first they was going to use a AMG V8 turbo.

If it is a Honda then this Honda CEO and HRC President just gave the Honda fans the greatest gift ever.

I just wish they race the RB17 in WEC/ Le Mans.

If its a custom engine its probably Cosworth, but only about a week till we'll see ...

Its confirmed to be a Cosworth 4.5 V10 producing 1000hp mated to a 200hp electric motor, gonna sound insane at 15.000rpm

Amazing machine but doesn't look quite as striking as the Valkryie. Mostly to do with the downwashing treatment on the "sidepod".

We will have to wait a see until next year with the engine info but at the moment it sounds just like the engine me and the Honda engineer( consultant now) was sharing ideas about. Honda's leaders are afraid of their own shadow so it looks like they said no so I wonder if the person I was talking with took it to Cosworth???
He is a consultant between RB and Honda after hr retired from Honda F1 a couple seasons ago( Yamamoto)??
