AJ, Scott Speed, and Red Bull Racing

It musta sucked for AJ getting the boot from RBR at the end of last season in favor of Speed, especially given AJ was starting to get some traction.

Was hoping Speed's performance would have been a little bit better in his rookie season. Definitely not the best in standings currently, nor was his qualifying for Atlanta all that good. Honestly not sure why that is.

Think RBR would have been better off keeping AJ?

Interesting to note the success Red Bull / Renault and Red Bull / Toyota have had this season in their respective series. I know they certainly have some talented engineers in their NASCAR program.

I'd expect in the coming years they'll both just get stronger.

And Red Bull must have said oh crap when he got all those top 10's and that end of last year and this year when he got 3rd in Daytona and top 15's
