Streets are saying the rain will get heavier?
Q1 is over, but I'm worried if it continues into Q2. Edit: Q1 resuming at :22.
You’re referring that he never had or magically lost his skills. Did you considered the age difference in the equation?JPower wrote: ↑20 Jul 2024, 15:54I'm not. The example of Hamilton's frustration being similar to Leclerc's was being made above. I can understand Hamilton having trouble adjusting after over a decade of sustained success.IntrinsicVoid wrote: ↑20 Jul 2024, 15:50You’re comparing apple to oranges here at best.JPower wrote: ↑20 Jul 2024, 15:42The excuses you all are making for what is supposed to be a generational talent and star driver are embarrassing at best.
Hamilton lacking some motivation after winning 7 titles/100+ races and having to fight for the occasional podium? Sure OK, I can see that. Leclerc isn't in that boat.
I don't understand "giving up" halfway through a season because your car isn't in a good place at the moment.
It's inferring and no, I didn't do that. Like I said in a subsequent post, Leclerc isn't giving up. Just driving badly. People are projecting their feelings on to him. He'll recover.IntrinsicVoid wrote: ↑20 Jul 2024, 16:25You’re referring that he never had or magically lost his skills. Leclerc has shown that he can place a car in a position where it shouldn’t be in the first place and those were in seasons where all knew he didn’t have a chance for championship in the first place. The mistakes will do a toll on him as they did numerous times. Hamilton now experienced this with this era and its just less than 3 years already which is less from what Leclerc suffers.
Perez underperforming is a huge let off for both Ferrari and Mercedes.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑20 Jul 2024, 17:30Leclerc's first Q3 lap was really good, sad he couldn't get another in, I think he would've easily gone above Hamilton there. Happy that Sainz went out at least. Maybe something crazy will happen tomorrow and we'll get another podium.
