Kerb riding should be an advantage in the race as well for McLaren won't it? It's not like they stay away from the kerbs in slow corners to save the tires?
should be, but I think much less; typically, negative characteristics of a car like kerb riding, understeer, etc, are exacerbated in quali with low fuel when you have to attack, but they are less of a problem in race with high fuel; to put it in numbers, I don't expect Max losing 2-3 tenths in the chicane alone like in quali; just my two cents, maybe I'll be severely contradicted
