Hey guys,
long time no post here as I've been mostly concentrating on my own street/track (dual purpose) car.
It's time for new rubber and I'm using 8" wide rims all round.
the standard was 225/45/17 (load rating: 91).
I went with 235/40/17 (load rating: 94) to lower the center of grabity without further distorting the suspension geometry. 235/40/17 is not common here and tyres can cost up to 3-4 times as much.
I'm considering going on 245/40/17 95 load rating.. but is there such thing as diminishing return?
Disregard fender/control arm clearance as well as increase in drag.
