This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
I remember back at the start of the season DLR said they intented to bring changes to every GP, and they did for a while but with Spa & Zandvoort it's been 2 races they haven't brought any news. Have they changed the development approach?

Clearly, since previous updates didn't work as they wanted
Think they did, they were a "tweak" to the Imola upgrades. Wasn't really a full upgrade. Think it's the next upgrade that we see if they've found their way or are there still unknowns.
As Alonso said before the race it was unrealistic to think to keep Hamilton and Sainz behind. There was nothing more to extract for the car that suffers from hot track temp and Apline was faster

Looked like Williams might have been a problem too, if they didn't have to start from the back.
Alonso tried for a few laps to pass Gasly, but even with DRS he couldnt get close, he knew if he kept pushing that pace his tyres would be cooked, so he had to drop back 2 seconds, after Gasly pitted he pushed but on his inlap he had to let Perez lap him in a awkward corner which probably cost him 2 seconds, and he came out the pits just behind Gasly which sealed his fate.
Stroll came out the pits on fresher tyres than Ricciardo and about 5 sec ahead, but Ricciardo slowly reeled him in......... Aston wtf!
Alonso better beg Newey to come to Aston, if Newey doesnt come, Alonso will be mad he didnt sign with Merc
Newey won’t solve anything even if announced in September. If he comes he will focus on 2026 car. They need to find the path to consolidate as 5th team for the rest of the season.
Maybe maybe Cardile will participate to the 2025 car but everything is in Fallows teams’ hand.
i find it interesting that mclaren have slightly altered rear and front design during the season.
also tbh when was the last time we brought performance updates. imola was a dud so they were removed. hungary was making the car more stable not pure performance

I had read that Cardile setup Ferrari's windtunnel. I'm sure that will be one of his focuses as CTO. Sure car performance will be another.

I hope that Monza AM will return to the configuration from the beginning of the season that made them one of the fastest teams on the straights. I also hope that they will fit a new engine since it would not entail a penalty. I think that with this configuration
Monza is one of the few bullets left for the team, along with the cold track of the
Las Vegas GP, to do something decent in what remains of the season. Greetings.
