Sir Frank is no push over.

I agree, Williams were dependent on MrE's handouts for this season and it defies logic why they would push for KERS when they don't have it themselves yet and nobody else wants it either?flynfrog wrote:I kinda doubt Frank is going to push for a system his already cash strapped team has yet to turn a lap in anger with. If he were smart he would push to not have it.

and on the contrary, imagine how much Ferrari will gain with a system they ran for a year......with smaller front tyre and 620kg increase Ferrari should be the one 2 gain the most with KERS.

Other than Mclaren, Who have run it for more races, with less problems and its lighters so they can use the extra weight to sort out there balance.
exactly thats why EVERYONE want it bannedxpensive wrote:Domenicali said that at season's end, Ferrari will official bury one KERS-unit as a token of the end of it.
When you consider the outrageous investment for the energy equivalent of 0.012 liter of gas per lap, you can appreciate where he's coming from.
If everyone's got it, it's nobody's gain, is it now?
Err ok, I never metioned points did i?siskue2005 wrote:constructors' ChampionshipSawtooth-spike wrote:

3. Ferrari 56
4. McLaren 44
12 races Ferrari used KERS for 12 races
12 races McLaren used KERS for 10 races
until Hungary Gp Ferrari was the highest finishing KERS car
more podiums than McLaren till now
more pints finish than McLaren till now
maybe its a bit unreliable at beginning, now its very goodSawtooth-spike wrote:

How many KERS problems have Mclarren had oh thats right none
sorry i didnot get u there.Of the 12 races with KERS mclaren ran 2 cars, Ferrari did not.
Points are important coz it shows their car is fast with Kers onboardPoint are nothing to do with next year. Mclaren have the lightest most reliable KERS. Fact.
When Mclaren ran KERS at a Race, they ran it on both cars, this was not always the case with Ferrari.siskue2005 wrote:maybe its a bit unreliable at beginning, now its very goodSawtooth-spike wrote:

Next yr with 620 kg minimum weight, Ferrari Kers wont have any weight distribution problems and also smaller front tyres will make it easy to find the best balance with Kers.
So the point is, banning Kers would be a loss 4 Ferrari AND Mclaren.
but ferrari ran it on both cars for 11 out of 12 gpsSawtooth-spike wrote: When Mclaren ran KERS at a Race, they ran it on both cars, this was not always the case with Ferrari.
one was in FP at MalaysiaDo remember that Kimi Retired atleast twice due to KERS.
exactly what i was trying to say and countering this post>>> "Ferrari has had it with the senseless spending for very little gain and don't want it no more.I do agree that its a big loss for both of them.
There is a bunch of speculation on the thread linked below. Efficiencies get talked about around pages 10 onwards:BreezyRacer wrote:I'm just wondering ..
