Marko just said that starting in Baku they will remove the in season upgrades to find the point where they got it wrong. They are expecting to lose like 20 points of downforce but are hoping to improve the handling.

That reminds me of 2018 with Ferrari. They went off with the upgrades, and then went back to the original configuration, and then Kimi won a race in Austin. Red Bull should've done the same long time ago. Even if they lose some downforce who cares, race pace matters which is about how long you can keep the tyres working, which is about the stability of the car.

RB went from a winning car to a battling and sometimes winning car to a car that can barely get on the podium.

Yes, other teams have brought upgrades, but the upgrades that RB have brought have made the car unstable and slow. That is a fact.

From F1-tempo he had this issue from lap 33 to 40.
Unless he had DRS the laps after or Perez had the same issues (telemetry is similar between the two)

It honestly seems like Red Bull Racing are lost. Honda ran with no wings at all in 2023 MotoGP pre-season testing for a baseline, similarly suggesting a team that was a bit lost with their understanding of motorcycle downforce development.

Randomly trying different combinations of parts or reverting to Round 1 spec (RBR) or no downforce at all (Honda) is not a good look!

[Is it possible that some of RBR's best aerodynamicists have been allocated to the KTM MotoGP program and need to be recalled to work on the Grand Prix car?! ]

Unless the "base car" can no longer run because it's no longer legal Max used the Bahrain spec floor at Netherlands and he had similar balance issues

Yeah but as said earlier in this thread RB changed other parts so it's worth a shot to try the base car. Even though the balance was still good in Suzuka and especially in China (in the dry). So, yeah i have absolutely no idea what is going on here.
