Low speed corners and long straights favour the Ferrari, its predominant weakness being porpoising in mid-high speed corners. But it's unclear where it stands after the upgrades.
That would have been excluding the Honda support payments of 100m per year.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑12 Sep 2024, 08:06Zak was on Dale Jr. podcast - quite interesting talk so far (I am 35 minutes in).
Zak just shared a interesting number. When he took over the team they had 35M in sponsorship. Now they have over 300M for the F1 team. That is insane.
Some people here we were stating the obvious but we were just Piastri haters... anyway.Ben1980 wrote: ↑12 Sep 2024, 08:38https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/ar ... gen1vegx7o
So, the team admitting they weren't happy with how it panned out in Monza. Probably brought things to a head, reiterating team comes first.
I dont like the idea of giving up a win, unless exceptional circumstances. But swapping 2nd or 3rd I have no issues with.
It all got a bit silly. It was all pretty clear, it was a good move at the wrong time. And I think the team have seen it as putting himself above the team.bluechris wrote: ↑12 Sep 2024, 08:47Some people here we were stating the obvious but we were just Piastri haters... anyway.Ben1980 wrote: ↑12 Sep 2024, 08:38https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/ar ... gen1vegx7o

Earlier in the season or against someone not his team mate it was fine. It's good that the team are taking the appropriate measures.Ben1980 wrote: ↑12 Sep 2024, 09:01It all got a bit silly. But, it was always going to be the catalyst for change, and it has been.
There's so many clauses, caveats and use of the words "when nevessary" and "Team first" that I'm not sure how they will come to a strategy decision. I guess we'll find out.
This is where it gets a little frustrating. Both the team as a whole and Zak have emphatically said the opposite of this, so this is kind of putting opinion in their mouth, contrary to what has actually been said.Ben1980 wrote: ↑12 Sep 2024, 09:01It all got a bit silly.
