Personally I'm confident the team will do the talking when it matters and deliver another 1-2.

It's time for Qualifying. Let's go and do the first part of our job by getting the 1-2. Let's go Mclaren.
Oh dear!

They weren't 0.7s off Leclerc. Leclerc set the laptime later. With tires that had done 2 fast laps already, Oscar was P3 and 0.2s off. Lando messed up the final corner and is out. Pretty simple.

At least nobody can say McLaren lost the WDC for Lando. He does not deserve it this year.
Not sure, he lifted due to yellow flag.
I believe the yellow flags were there because of his mistake in the last corner. He made it because he was pushing, and if the flags were before this point, he would be slower and wouldn't make it
The yellow was for Ocon right in front of Lando it seems.

While yellow flag was badluck he made a critical mistake yet again. He fumbled a lot of times this year losing easy victories and let's be honest. He doesn't deserve to be world champion. How many times has the team screwed Piastri over to help Norris.

In the meantime I have no idea what is going on today. We shouldn't be struggling that much. I don't even see where we are losing so much time.

We got to find a way to find a good TOW from someone. I think that is where the difference is.

Not sure if you’re watching qualifying or not but the yellow was out before his mistake….

Im watching it. Im not frustrated of the yellow flag. Im frustrated because the team fumbled Piastri a lot of times this year to help Norris and he can't do it. How many wins has he fumbled.

I don't get it. That car was good everywhere. What changed here?

Would he have made the mistake without the yellow? is a waste of time. He might of been distracted, who knows. But it wasn't a problem today.

I'm unsure if people even saw it all. It was clearly all just unlucky.

He isn't out due to an error, he is out due to the yellow and having Ocon in front.

( but car doesn't seem great here)

Calm down. I said the mistake was irrelevant and could have been caused by being distracted by the yellow.

Piastri talk needs to stop. Piastri was consistently slower in races and in qualifying this year. Team did not sacrifice Piastri in any meaningful way the whole year. Lando may make mistakes (just like Piastri) but he was faster driver this year.

This may change, he is a big talent as well.

I hope Piastri does well today and tomorrow. But it looks like we don't have the pace for P1 today.

People not seem to get it. It's not the yellow. The yellow was badluck. What isn't badluck is how many times Norris fumbled a critical qualifying lap, a race start or races in general. Let's not kid ourselves. Piastri will demolish him if he keeps improving like that next year. He already fixed his race pace. I remember some years back Norris gave an ultimatum to the team to give a fast car cause he won't be waiting forever. Now that he has a fast car what is he doing? Lewis Hamilton got the same wins as Norris with the 4th best car and he is our last Mclaren champion.

From lando: lap was easily good enough but he had to back off for the yellow.
So there it is, we can stop arguing
