What a race!!!! Stellar job from everyone at the team today. Piastri drove like a champ. He had total control over Leclerc. He was aggressive in his overtake for the lead and stayed so focused and calm in fighting to defend for over half the race. This guy is the real deal.
Without Lando holding up Perez it would not had been possible. Brilliant team game there from Norris who has also done an amazing job today after the defeat on Saturday.
I am extremely proud of everyone at the team! What a great Sunday this is.
Crazy race I must say. So let's recap.
1)Today Oscar showed us that he is a future world champion. Perfect drive, perfect defenses and a fantastic dive bomb without sending the other off the stage.
2)Good job from Lando Norris gaining 3 more points with the difference on 59 now with 7 races to go.
3)The team today was perfect in terms of strategy.
4)Kudos to Lando Norris playing a fantastic team game helping Piastri on his pit stop.
5)My opinion is that it was Sainz's fault. He could see Perez in his mirrors next to him. Why did he do that?
The constructors throne is ours and the natural order has been restored. Onwards for the double now.
