Clearly his contract is for the season, with RedBull, to drive for RB.
.
Red Bull offered Ricciardo a contract starting 2023 as a Red Bull reserve driver, carrying out simulator duties and marketing duties
to regain his confidence after McLaren fired him very early. When Nyck de Vries didn't live up to expectations,
Horner loaned him to AlphaTauri until they could find a permanent replacement for Nyck.
That's what Horner said at the time. I assume he'll just continue to fulfil those roles for Red Bull.
He signed a contract for AT for 2024:

Seems like it's more or less confirmed that Singapore is Daniel's last race.

Thanks. I only heard he was on loan for '23 to SAT.

I heard what Max said during the PC and it sounded as if this will be the last race for Daniel. Max is always straight forward.
And Yuki said he learned a lot from Daniel, not I always learn a lot from Daniel.

Here you can see Ricciardo speaking to the press and answering questions about his future.
It's striking that his usual PR lady isn't standing next to him, but the director of Red Bull communications Kelly Brittain.
Also, there is another RB employee standing next to it, which is not usual when they speak to the press.
Should they support him so that he does not say anything that has not been officially announced? Very strange.

"Could you give us an update about your futur ......." Ricciardo interview.

EDIT:

Some said it isn't Kelly Brittain, I don't know but what I do know is that that man is RBR's head of communication Paul Smith.
Why was he the whole afternoon at Daniel's side? He never was before. Just to protect him from the media questions?

Dan could still be RB and Vcarb reserve driver which would still see him at all races, possibly next year and easier to compare against Checo.

In some ways, this may be the fastest way into the RB seat should something happen to Checo or Max.

Wow, what a FP3! Norris 0.9 sec faster than Piastri ( 0.8 ), Max and Leclerc! Perez 0.9 sec slower than Max!

And what happend with Ricciardo? He tried two times but didn't improve. 0.5 sec slowers than Yuki. What happend?

I understand Yuki's frustration. He should have been let out way earlier to get a proper warm up. He definitely was not happy when he got out of the car, there was more in it.

i too dont understand why they waited for too long while they had plenty of time .you run the risk of someone crushing or being held by other cars .he is luck because of ferrari but the will pass him.

Agree to that but he was again 0.37 quicker than Ricciardo in Q1 and Ricciardo was out.
A GREAT 8th place in quali!! =D>

Singapore Qualification.

Yuki Tsunoda #22
Third Practice Session – Best lap: 1:31.114, pos. 11th, 16 laps
Qualifying – Best lap: (Q1) 1:30.716, (Q2) 1:30.289, (Q3) 1:30.354 pos. 8th

“It’s been a while since we were in Q3, and today finally we made it! We were waiting for this moment, so well done and thanks to the Team. Obviously, as a driver, you’re always aiming for a perfect qualifying, and unfortunately, the last run was a bit messy. We were tight on time during the warm-up lap, so we had to rush, which compromised our last push lap a bit. Initially, I was a bit frustrated when I crossed the finish line, but considering our performance in the last few races, this is a big achievement for us. It won’t be easy tomorrow, we’ll try to catch the Haas in front of us but at the same time, we’ll have to look at some fast cars behind us. We’ll do as much as we can to try and score points.”

Daniel Ricciardo #3
Third Practice Session – Best lap: 1:31.561, pos. 17th, 17 laps
Qualifying – Best lap: (Q1) 1:31.085, pos. 16th

“Today wasn’t good. We really struggled on the softs, every set we used today, we weren’t competitive. Our pace was good yesterday, which is why we didn’t change much on the car overnight. In FP3, we performed well on the medium. However, it was a lot harder for us to get the most out of the soft tyre, and we didn’t find a solution in qualifying. There was only a tenth between us and Q2, but we expected more based on yesterday’s practice.”

Guillaume Dezoteux (Head of Vehicle Performance)

“Back to Q3! After a solid Friday, the engineering group was focused on making small changes to optimize the car balance and extract the best out of the Soft tyres. The overall performance of the team in qualifying session has been strong confirming the competitiveness of our car in this kind of track. Yuki progressed to Q2 and then Q3 by putting solid lap times together and he qualified P8, which is a good starting position for tomorrow’s race. For Daniel, the pace was very similar but finding the limit on braking in a couple of places has been more difficult and cost him Q2 by one tenth. We need to understand better this limitation as every detail counts in this tight field. Tonight, we will review the various options for the race strategy and the tyre usage tomorrow, hoping for points to defend our position in the Constructors’ championship.“

Sky showed Daniel’s lap, he was fighting the car pretty hard through the last section, just poor grip. It looked similar to George Russell fighting his car through the same section.

George was complaining over the Radio that the tires felt different on every run, and Laurent effectively agreed with George in a very subtle way when Sky asked him about it live as Q2 was starting.
