From the side, yeah, from the front there is now white on both the wings too plus Papaya on the top of the nose. I wasn't a fan of the triple crown livery but this seems a much nicer job to me.Emag wrote: ↑19 Sep 2024, 12:11It's a lot like their Spain livery last year. Not my favourite Singapore Livery though, which was...

I've just noticed how the front wing endplate is made for the amazon logo..![]()
It isn't likely a wing will be used in that form before Las Vegas I would think, so nothing to lose, provided the FIA make any decision early.
Wasn't it 3 hours before the start of FP1? If I recall It was something like an hour before the car display, which last for 1 hour and is 2 hours before FP1.
It may well be that wing, it's our second lowest DF wing along with the new Ultra Df wing, which has the potential to be at Vegas, though I don't think so.BMMR61 wrote: ↑19 Sep 2024, 12:35It isn't likely to be a wing used in that form before Las Vegas I would think, so nothing to lose, provided the FIA make any decision early.
So they are saying the car is legal but they could add a new test to make it not legal for future races.
I doubt they'd do this as I think it would add more weight, but my car is an almost pearlescent white and looks fantastic under both sunlight or artificial lighting. (Obviously I'm biased, but you know what I mean).mwillems wrote: ↑19 Sep 2024, 12:34From the side, yeah, from the front there is now white on both the wings too plus Papaya on the top of the nose. Singapore is under the lights, this is why I prefer the dark and brooding liveries they bring here that possibly wouldn't work in daylight races, but I'm sure this will look good under the reflection of the floodlights. Still, it's the place where more black will actually look better and they cover the car in bright vinyl.
Well, it was there, clear as day, in a few onboards in Monza, and a bit less clear in a few onboards in Spa. But none on those in the main feed, you have to chase for the few laps with rear facing cameras.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑19 Sep 2024, 12:42So they are saying the car is legal but they could add a new test to make it not legal for future races.
Btw I wonder if it would have been picked up if we didn't have 30 laps of TV footage of McLaren rear wing with Leclerc in DRS.
This is true. And in your opinion which situation McLaren would prefer? To be in the lead, P1 and full focus on his RW (and maybe to be banned by FIA or copied by other teams in the near future) or to be P2 or P3 and this design to pass unnoticed?hollus wrote: ↑19 Sep 2024, 18:34Well, it was there, clear as day, in a few onboards in Monza, and a bit less clear in a few onboards in Spa. So my guess is that this could have slipped under the radar had it not been in a fight for the lead, from the lead, in the main feed, with the right light for contrast.
They have to ever since they added that TD a while back.
