Im not sure how good he really is, seems he has made most of his own luck but usually he is just off the pace.Giblet wrote:+ Webber finally getting a well deserved win. He got to show how good he really is, and how truly unlucky he has also been in the past.
F1 knows how good he is. There is a reason he has always had a good selection of drives, and not really someone who gets dropped by teams. He is not often of the pace of his teammate, and often betters his teammates.dave34m wrote:Im not sure how good he really is, seems he has made most of his own luck but usually he is just off the pace.Giblet wrote:+ Webber finally getting a well deserved win. My memory of his first win will always be that he hit two cars before the first turn and that horrible squealing like a little girl when he won. I know a couple of Aussies who were horrified by that alone.

For someone who apparently has has his choice of drives he hasn't really had much in the way of good results. 1 pole in over 100 starts, best finish in WDC of 10th in his first 7 years.Giblet wrote:F1 knows how good he is. Basically, the people in F1 know how good he is, and he got to prove it against Vettel, who most regard as a very skilled driver. When he won he was untouchable.
How he acted after the race is COMPLETELY unrelated to his talent.
