Nico Rosberg

Has anyone been watching this lad? I have caughts bits of some of the recent races - I just get a feeling that he might be very good indeed.

Perhaps some of you have been paying closer attention to the up and coming stars.

Well, you have been watching the right series. This is where we can see most of tomorrow's F1 stars.
But Rosberg sure looks good, and quick.

In a couple of years we'll have Déjà Vu with Niko Rosberg, Mathias Lauda, Nelson Piquet Junior and Nicola Prost

Why is Bruno Senna not mentioned in that list? :D

They all have HUGE shoes to fill.

Nico Rosberg was fairly inconsistent in F3 last year where Piquet Jnr faired much better winning the British F3 title. This year there seems to be a role reversal with Rosberg and the ART team doing very well (GP2)where as Piquet seems to be struggling for pace as the season progresses. There is no room in F1 at the moment but i cannot wait to see what Rosberg and Kovalainnen can do in F1. Piquet Jnr seems very tough mentally (just like his old man) but is a nice guy with it (met him at Goodwood)
Nicolas Prost (nephew of the prof) has only done a few years racing so to has Bruno Senna (the resemblance is amazing!) so we're yet to see what they are really capable of in cars. I think Prost is still racing in France at the moment and Bruno Senna is racing in British F3.
Matthias Lauda has been struggling for the two years that i've been watching him, rarely being able to make consistent points finishes. I quite admire his old man though (not for the Jaguar debacle i might add) Amazing to think he was back in an F1 car racing and finished fourth only a month after being read the Last Rites!
Saw on the news here recently that Nigel Mansell's sons have been doing some karting and were looking into testing with Formula BMW.

Yeah F1 has no room for all these new blood.. but in the next 5 years we will see most of them in f1. Barrichelo, shumy, fisichella and coulthard will be retiring in next 2-3 years(being 30+) i really want to see davidson and bordais in f1.

I have nothing against seeing him too but Bruno Senna is Senna's nephew I think, those mentioned are sons...
