Any specific info on why Max was running mid-size RW and not the big one?
AeroGimli.x

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

No but to hazard a guess it's because the track is always an easy one stop and balance is more important than overall downforce for max

Max and Kimis floor damaged as a result of the metal advertising piece coming from the bridge. Max has a reserve. Might explain the bad 2nd hard and soft run compared to Russell and Sainz.

Helmut says that max's floor was heavily damaged but they have spare.

And Horner says they hope the engine issue is minor

Apparently "the team confirms that the engine will not be changed for the second free practice session," but I guess that didn't really give an exact update as to the extent of the issue.

Never mind, just saw the post above. Seems the problem was quickly fixed.

Again wasting this FP1, FP2. Now have a problem with reliability, was hoping for a good run to test the car today. A bad day. Tomorrow we have just FP3, and we know how difficult is to find the proper setup for this car.

Max can still use Perez's setup at worst.

To be fair not even other cars had good running in FP1, or even now in FP2 because of pirelli test and red flags. But they have to nail it tomorrow.

Ferrari is well ahead. Piastri did ok. Norris and Perez lot of deg. Hope Perez still had the old floor as he was almost a second slower in his 2nd long run than the Ferraris.

Car will be decent I would like to think (w/ Max). A podium capable car.
