Once again, it will look like Ferrari was a dominant car but realistically, McLaren was heavily compromised by Verstappen. At least he was punished this time around, it will help wonders with Lando to know he can "win" in such a fight.
BTW Verstappen probably benefited even after gaining 20 seconds. He will win 8 points, lose 10 against NOR. If NOR won he would probably lose more as their race pace looks really bad.
I guess that bib maybe did help.
I wouldn't say Ferrari was dominant. If Lando was racing any other driver there, he would have probably gone through around the outside and not lost 15 seconds to Carlos in the first stint.
Also, he was forced off twice, one of them being through the grass. Tires probably got dirty and degradation was increased. Oscar had much better degradation than Lando even though he was on dirty air all race.
A big big shame really.
