Sainz is pretty good in wet conditions.
Japan 22, Monaco 23 and Canada 24 beg to differ
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

coming into this weekend based on 2022 and 2023 I thought we would be weak here, top 5 finish I thought would be a win, but yea I think we were still quite weak the amount of lico that Charles was asked is ridiculous.. but anyway double podium... Btw is the lico for break temp or engine temp ?? seems to be break. could they not bring bigger opening on the break ?

I'd say that is the best weekend that Carlos has done for the team, well done.
Charles...the less said, the better.

All drivers have some bad races in any condition, but on average he is very good in wet conditions. That is where he took his first pole in Formula 1 (Silverstone '22).

Because it's gonna be cold and wet (forecast at the moment). Anything better than P3-P4 is gonna be great, luckily Mercedes is so far off on pace otherwise they'd be in the game too
Does the new SF24 suffer from the cold? Mexico had a normal cold snap from q1 to q3, but it didn't bother Carlos and Charles.

Mixed conditions are a roulette with these Pirelly tyres.

I trully adore your obsession with Leclerc, after everything Max won and you guys still can't miss a chance to make some false narratives. Did Bahrain and Austria 22 really hurt so much?
Bahrain '22 will never be cleaned. Absolutely clowned Max in wheel to wheel racing.

Super strong result for the team. WCC chance is real now! Bravo to Carlos for a dominant performance.

How are Ferrari fastest with a good margin suddenly, with no updates

I'm sick and tired of the way the 'authorities' making back room deals with exposed cheaters, and shafting them down a notch in the pecking order. They did this with Ferrari in 2020 and 21 when they got caught in '19. Now, with the other team(s). Just exclude them from the championship like they deserve, as they did with McLaren back in 2007.

Norris cut down on Sainz something like 15s on Hards, 10s were cut when dark clouds got over the track alone. I think it's crystal clear how sensitive to track temps the car is

McLaren might still be the fastest as I don't think Norris is getting everything from qualifying and the starts. What is going to help Ferrari in the WCC is Piastri's inconsistent race pace.

It was +/- the same at Austin without the clouds, Lando was fastest at the end.

Norris may not be great at starts but his qualifying pace is great, aside from this weekend, and his race management has been solid since Monza. I don't see him being off the podium for the rest of the year.

Piastri is the much bigger issue for McLaren than Norris. Of course, I don't mind since it's great for Ferrari.

With the LiCo, I would like to believe that they are just trying to make sure Charles does not need to take an engine penalty this year.

They probably did not expect Norris to be as fast as he was on the hards

Wasn't this close even though Leclerc was cruising and Norris had a very important tyre life and pace offset
