If you add this phantom 5kph, Verstappen would have reached 353 km/h top speed in qualy. That's 3 km/h clear of any other car. Not realistic.
Max has been using significantly smaller RW than Perez whole weekend and almost never had a significant Top Speed advantage. That's literally impossible with identical PU. 5kmh at 348kmh is not super huge and it would explain why Max wasn't quicker than Ferrari when he really should have been. Marko isn't kidding himself and the team with such statements, he's not Toto

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

At some point someone here tried to make an engine overview. Is this maybe still present?
Counting through the races, I would expect, that they had in Spa one engine with 1-2 races and a new one for Spa plus the two FP engines, which are now also quite bad.
So in case they really had two races on the engine in Hungary, they would need one of the engines for 7 races, plus Sprints...
McLaren introduced new engines in Monza, so two races later.

What is hard to count is the engine they saved one race on with the brake fire. But still, there is not much room...

Full size BW for both of them

PU swap all but confirmed in Brasil

Speed trap figures across the start/finish straight, before DRS is activated, showed Verstappen topped out at 251.4km/h – which was well adrift of team-mate Sergio Perez on 253.4km/h.

Verstappen was second slowest of all at the first intermediate trap, logging 299.6km/h compared to Perez on 303.1 and title rival Lando Norris on 307.9km/h.

Apparently two stewards for the Mexican Grand Prix were Johnny Herbert and Tim Mayer (son of McLaren co-founder Teddy Mayer).

Do you remember that in 2021 they wanted to remove one of the stewards because he had a Honda dealership? Now British and Mclaren-linked stewards are punishing Max.

Red Bull should protest because of conflict of interests.

Pointless now, the damage is done. Can’t do anything- other than possibly refund the super license points.

As others have said, lando not getting the win is better for Max.

Still a big hill to climb - 48points in 4 races.

Can effectively have 4 GPs like we just have had.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Seems a final decision is being made on Thursday but that would seem likely it will be made.

But with that it is looking almost certain it will happen

problem is that you have also 2 sprints, so more points for Lando to gain

Isn't Derek Warwick also British? As Horner, Newey, Weathly and a bunch of other people in Red Bull. Or at least was in Red Bull.

Herbert who drove for Red Bull Sauber before moving to Stewart Grand Prix? Stewart Grand Prix that became Jaguar that became Red Bull Racing?? Yes, that could be seen as a conflict??

Yes he is. As are the majority of team personnel at Red Bull Racing based in Milton Keynes...

Feels like with Horner comments Perez isn't there next year its just if they make the move before the end of the season or next year.
