What bothers me the most is the fact they at the FIA know well in advance they arent going to let qualfying to happen today. Why are they fooling the fans and making them waste so much of their time, not just those watching on TV all over the world(very late at night in some places), but even more so all those fans sitting on the grandstands, that have a long way back home.
16:45, they KNOW it will be worse at 16:45.
I thought Masi was bad and Wittich was good and he wouldn't be managing such situations as badly.

Is it a problem or just a very convenient excuse to put Max last on the grid?

Yeah getting very angry now after hearing of course max might start p20 if qualy will not go ahead. What else to expect , what a big joke. Of course because their favourite boy Lando would start from p1,because the grid order will be based on the practice 1. Very unfair, and would mean ever more that this sport is being manipulated by the British.

Will not watch this bad show ever again this year if this happens.

There is plenty of water on the track. I'd let them qualify and see who can make it work but F1 is very risk averse today.

There is plenty of time to qualify tomorrow.

well, tomorrow looks likely to be worse, so if they can't qualify in today's coditions, then there may be no race anyway

Why not just turn down the engine 20% and let them go a few laps? I mean they're the best drivers in the world?

Could you link the forecast? I saw that the amount of rain is quite low tomorrow.

If the cars are too slow, they can't heat the tires and it's like driving on ice. These cars and tires need to be run hard, if it's too cold or wet it's just not possible.

there is no risks, surely not for drivers health let alone lives. if only for some carbon pieces and cost cap of few teams. this is one of the safest tracks in the world with huge run off areas all over the track. this is the most talented and skillful grid of drivers f1 has even seen. they all know how to drive in the wet, even the likes of stroll. these are just excuses...it's always safety, such rubbish . let them go out track and it will be cleared in 5 minutes by 20 f1 cars on full wet tires.
what these clowns do with all these utility vehicles wiping the water while consistent rain keeps dropping down ,this is just pathetic.
but I can of course understand your perspective of a Mclaren fan.

Just remember what you said if it ends up being wet before the race.

Teams would argue what who ever was on pole only turned their engine down 19%

I have a feeling you will be calling for the race to be cancelled.
