This situation is probably unprecedented. Curious to see what the stewards will be doing.

Half the grid would get penalties. No chance.
So where do you stop then with that? They all broke the rules.

Seems Norris will at least.
Yea the entire grid would get a penalty since they all drove off eventually
Well this I guess is the problem. Seems Norris will cop it at least.

Would anyone really want to see a sporting penalty though? The race hasn’t even started. Silly.

Going to be a few penalties handed out here I'd imagine

Lando caused it, some of the cars knew the rules. Penalty for all who went when the lights were yellow.

Safety car for what? This is more half the drivers not knowing the rules.

Norris caused this mess by not knowing the rules.

In such a situation, the lead car is the de-facto safety car.

So he should have a penalty for this really..
You stop the race and give a red flag. Also there are radio comms. FIA has no clue how to run the race. If he is a safety car, then he should be allowed to circle the track... And everyone that went over the line breached the rules, no matter who was first to do it.

When its Norris, rules don't need to be followed, when it is Verstappen, the punishment cannot be hard enough...

Max and two or three others waited for the green light. Would not get a penalty

Controversial episode. As far as I remember, the first pilot always takes the place of the SC. If he leaves, the others must and can go also for safety reasons on the return of the cars to the grid
