Merc is a great race car today. 15s lead with 5 laps to go and no SC etc. 3 to 4 tenth plus delta in race pace. Russell seems to be managing with no fastest lap attempts. Good race so far.

Yeah ham really screwed himself yesterday, he would win easily with a better starting position. He will run out of laps
Hm looks like you are right. Not making up enough time now. Shame, he really is fastest today.

Yea him not winning today is all on him, even his Q2 lap would have been enough for P3 but he couldnt put a lap together

Hamilton screwed himself in qualifying massively.

The team screwed him in the race by wasting his tyre advantage and then also pitting him 6 laps behind George.

I am not so sure about Lewis winning today because it's not clear how much George is leaving on the table. Could have had a great chance with a better qualifying for sure. George seems to have a lot in hand. Just increased gap from 4.9s to 5.8s in a couple of laps?

6 lap newer tyres, he is 100% saving some pace, i also just dont think he has enough laps to even catch up to within drs. still a really good drive from Lewis tonight, P10 to P2

Hamilton went off track then backed off. George has pace in reserve though of course, especially with significantly newer tyres.

Mercedes with a dominant car today, Russell didn't need to do much, Hamilton was the name of the race.
Congratulations to Max, when he had the car he won, when he didn't he got what was possible.

Max deserved this one.

Made the most of the fastest car. Then made the most when he didn’t have the fastest car too.

Had Norris done the same it should have been going down to the last race.

This McLaren race pace disappearance has to be studied.

They said they didn’t were affected by the TE regarding water in the tires, looks like they might did

This post race bit is weird....

I suggest next year, James Corden Carpool Karaoke on the way to the podium.... 😂😂
If I come across as blunt, I apologise, it's my ASD. Sometimes, like an F1 car aqua-planing, it gets out of my control.

The Mercedes, not for the first time this season, works really well in cool/cold conditions.
It's a shame for them we mostly race in warm/hot conditions #-o
