Reactionary much ? It was one race. What are they head to head all time?

Lawson is certainly doing better in his first dozen races than Tsunoda did in 2021

What Red Bull are looking for is the ceiling for a Perez replacement. Checo has been bad this year, but during his career from early he was capable of a giant killing performance once or twice a year in a midfielder car.

Ricciardo showed he may have had that spark still with his Miami Sprint effort, but being an experienced race winner, they obviously expected that a couple more times after.

Gasly just put an Alpine on the podium and followed that with a 3rd in Qualifying. He won race with Alpha Tauri.

And he's a Red Bull reject.

Reality for Yuki is that he has never shown those unexpected sparks. Liam might still, but it's not looking that likely.

Which is where Colapinto enters the chat. He's shown some surprises in a Williams and is rumoured to have caught the eye of Checo's sponsors.

If Red Bull is looking for a driver who can generate spark, good for them.

I don't understand what they expect from Yuki, to fight for the world championship?, to finish on the podium?, to do the fastest lap in qualifying? Please... he has one of the worst cars on the grid. The team celebrates when they manage to get 1 point. And that already makes you understand how difficult it is to "generate sparks".

Yuki has always fought to get into Q3, he got in many times too. He usually gets points more consecutively, even if it's 1 point, for the team it's already a victory. And that says a lot about Yuki, he really doesn't have anything to prove to anyone anymore, he earned his place in F1 and we'll most likely see him at Aston Martin in 2026

2026 AM will be Alonso/Stroll. 2027 onwards while possible it is very unlikely for Yuki in my opinion, Yuki/Stroll driver pairing is way too weak for the ambitions of the team, and Stroll is unlikely to be dropped. I see someone like Verstappen as much more likely than Yuki in AM or even Alonso staying a bit longer. But I can be wrong of course.

Ah, so qualifying P3 in Brazil doesn't count? In those conditions, he put it together. That wasn't lost on some people actually.
And if the race hadn't been red flagged, you might have seen something.

I thought Stroll had a contract only for 2025, my mistake.
But the Max/Alonso duo... I have to see it, I would love it.

So if Yuki doesn't get a seat in 2026, it might be his last year.

Let's hope the real GP qualification is going to be better than this stupid boring sprintrace where they swap places. #-o

Pathetic strategy from Vcarb again. How could you not take a risk and go softs!?!? That they realized their blunder and pitted both cars with softs just goes to show how stupid this team is.

Other pilots fighting each other.

Meanwhile Tsunoda "Was it a mirror? I heard a beaver. My engineers said: 'There is a beaver'. I thought: but why is there a beaver in the Middle East? How is it possible that there is a beaver in the Middle East?"

haha I can't, I need more moments like this

I hope Yuki does himself a good service today - this is as close to a chance as he will be getting.

I think he would thrive (or die_ on a 1+1 deal with the Red Bull team - what has either party got to lose?
