Still don't understand how yesterday was a 1 place grid drop and 1 penalty point.
But Norris got absolutely nothing at all in Brazil for his aborted start fiasco, and re-joining the track unsafely a bunch of times.
Should not affect who gets the trophy though. Only affect the starting position for the race. They gave him a grid drop, not delete his fastest lap. Or do I have this wrong?Edax wrote:Just curious how are they going to deal with the pole trophy?
I get this vision of the FiA knocking on Russels door delivering the trophy with Verstappens name on it. “Yeah just take some whiteout and scribble your own name on it, it’ll be fine.”
There also must be some lifetime achievement in there, the amount of trophies verstappen had to hand back by now; I can’t think of any driver that would come anywhere close.
If not that, than surely rules that have been invented specifically for him would qualify.
I checked lando's onboard, feed didn't show the correct lap. I dont think anything will come of it. Lando just caught the flag for half a second before flying past it, then there were greens already.
Fair enough. Max is being told by GP that they're talking about the yellow flag ATM so it's not been dismissed as nothing but like you say might be nothing in it
