yup
Lewis is paid millions by Mercedes, and instead of whining endlessly on the radio about the car, he should show up and do his job. The car didn’t cause his false start or make him speed in the pit lane, those were his mistakes. His behavior is downright unprofessional and pathetic at this point.
Yea the false start somewhat ruined his race being stuck behind Perez, the stewards not calling for a VSC for so many laps, him and Sainz getting punctures and then them calling a SC immediately as both pitted pissed him off a lot and i think that caused him to forget about the pit limiter, then getting a drive through for it pissed him off even more to the point of arguing with Bono about retiring the car. Ham has probably been left out of certain meetings for months now and no longer has a say in car direction and Toto saying yesterday that the W15 and particularly how it is right now just cant handle his driving style backs that up to me. He'll be fine next year, new team etc but i worry that his mindset is probably in the gutter right now after this raceHammerfist wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:05Hamilton has checked out. Mistake on the start, another mistake during the safety car period, jeez this was worse than brazil. Hopefully he resets for next year but sometimes these bad trends are difficult to reverse. Hes been unwatchable most of this year. But I also agree that hes not driving the same car as russell. The difference in race pace was nearly a sec. So clearly Mercedes is playing games. Which i expected this year but it’s still messed up.
this notion that complaining on the radio is unprofessional is silly, if thats the case all the drivers on the grid are unprofessional and patheticTonino wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:13Lewis is paid millions by Mercedes, and instead of whining endlessly on the radio about the car, he should show up and do his job. I disagree. Complain and whine as much as you want, but don't mail it in, don't ask to stop. You are paid to do a job.Luscion wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:20this notion that complaining on the radio is unprofessional is silly, if thats the case all the drivers on the grid are unprofessional and patheticTonino wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:13Lewis is paid millions by Mercedes, and instead of whining endlessly on the radio about the car, he should show up and do his job. He told bono to just retire the car in response to bono telling him he got a drive through penalty for speeding in the pit lane, Bono eventually told him to retire the car and Lewis ignored the order and carried onCs98 wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:22I disagree. No other driver has whined the whole season like he has. He’s been complaining non-stop, both on the radio and off it, fueling his rabid fanbase in the process. Instead of owning up to his mistakes, he deliberately shifts blame onto the team. He knows exactly what he’s doing. This season, it’s not just the team that’s at fault, his driving has been subpar, and his behavior downright unprofessional.Luscion wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:20this notion that complaining on the radio is unprofessional is silly, if thats the case all the drivers on the grid are unprofessional and patheticTonino wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:13Lewis is paid millions by Mercedes, and instead of whining endlessly on the radio about the car, he should show up and do his job. Here's him just yesterday saying the quali issues are him and not the car and then Toto saying thats not trueTonino wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:35No other driver has whined the whole season like he has. Yeah what was that about? He ended up disregarding the order to retire the car and they didn’t insist on it. Cause it didnt actually need to be retired, ham was just upset in the moment, there was a back and forth between him and bono with bono saying no at first, then eventually telling him to retire the car. Merc thinks he's retiring the car cause they tweet it then delete it but Ham carries onHammerfist wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:39Yeah what was that about? Toto is just being polite. Like he was saying that Mick deserves a seat but however not giving the Lewis's seat to him. Toto talks a lot of bulls*it.Luscion wrote:Here's him just yesterday saying the quali issues are him and not the car and then Toto saying thats not trueTonino wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:35No other driver has whined the whole season like he has. Toto, Shovlin and Allison have all said the same thing, the car just doesnt suit him, Allison sat down for like 10mins explaining why he believes Lewis' driving style doesnt suit these cars on an f1 podcast months agoJurgen von Diaz wrote: ↑01 Dec 2024, 20:48Toto is just being polite.
