I am still optimistic about WCC. 21 points is not a small margin. Max and Russel could also play a big role (positive or negative for McLaren).
But let's look on the positive side, if we end up second in WCC we get more development time next year
and before the start of the season, we all would have signed up to have a season like this (even with ending up P2).
I feel there's good and realistic possibility of coming out as WCC holders from this. Still quite a few points difference for Ferrari to overturn in one race.
Both of these teams have developed and raced well this season, inevitable lower points in performance at different times, but with them also showing they can understand and action their skills, thinking and application to bring themselves back up into valid contention.
There's no disgrace here, they've both "reformed" from performance in recent years, learning alot about themselves as they move through this. It's been a good battle between the two, with a nail biter still to come.
Both now, emphatically, know how they have got to focus so much on starting next year if they are to contend the WDC too.
We've seen some excellent racing this year, either team will be the right location whichever wins this Constructors title.
