I'm just kidding, I hope everyone read to the bottom of this post before replying I would like to see a race return to Mosort, but Montreal has been entrenched for the GP.
A man can dream.
Someone should step up and give this guy and his team a chance to design an F1 track. No more Tilkes thank you very much. Enough is enough.

That is pretty nice...
I once scribbled out a track down around Battery park, just wish I knew how to (quickly & easily) make it look pretty like that one.
Battery Park and the area, would seem much more "doable" for an F1 race than central park... but I dont care if they put it in Jersey, I'd still be there.
At least they were onboard through the corkscrew. Why do they also switch to the trackside cameras through the corners and back onboard on the straights? I hate that!

Wiki has
Wiki rules, thanks tim. See, you need no Tilke to design and build an F1 track? Imagine Rosberg Sr got his 900 Hp light-switch Honda-turbo around that?

Pretty much the only road course in the country that wouldn't need significant investment to upgrade facilities is Indianapolis, but I don't imagine that the track is all that eager to have F1 back given the way they were treated last time.
I just checked the track lengths, comparing Barber to Laguna Seca.
Laguna Seca: 2.238 miles
Barber: 2.3 miles
So, Barber is fractionally longer, and it seems to be taken for granted, as nice a track as it is, that Laguna Seca is too short. TO be fair, Barber would probably be a slower lap given that it would probably have more time off the throttle than Laguna Seca, but it would seem that if Laguna is too short then so is Barber.
I do think it would be fun to see a race a Miller in Utah, too. But again, the closest thing to it is SLC, hardly the most happening place in the world.
