I'm pretty sure Newey told to Aston everything when he was at empty factory visit. I mean told everything about why so good the Redbull and what to look for etcetera. He can't say why is bad the Aston or why have correlation issues.
That was back in July. In that case you would think the October updates would have worked well... but they didn't
We need to be more careful about Newey, he is the best, but he is not a God   . The best chances are with us now, but we cant guarantee nothing
Or instead Newey didn't help them yet with the car. Maybe on other things such as his opinion on Cardile/Whitmarsh/Fallows

It’s weird that’s it’s been going on for 2 years and they haven’t fixed it
17 KPH is the Difference between DRS and non DRS. With regards to Hamilton, Alonso had wheel spin in that last turn. That's why he was passed by Hamilton.

Just because there is a difference in speed you just can't come the conclusion that it's deployment related.

I think Cardile is coming in January. His month of arrival is not mentioned (I've never seen it at least), but Pedro said "Enrico Cardile and then Adrian Newey are coming." That "then" suggests Adrian arrives after Cardile, not before.

Or perhaps I'm reading it wrong... Let's see!

RBR wanted him, in the end, he decided to stay at Aston. It was his choice in the spring 2024 to stay at Aston.
RBR wanted him but not Max. His best option was to sign extension deal with Aston
Who cares what Max wants. Point was he had an offer or could have had, If he'd signed, he'd be going to RBR in 2025.
I honestly wouldn't have been happy if he had joined RB, apart from the fact that he would have had to get to know everyone, the engineers etc. But above all during the season the performances of Redbull dropped a lot and then Newey arrived and he is not the only one. So in my opinion I prefer to stay in a team where Newey arrives rather than go to a team where Newey left

Alonso stated repeated times over his career that he doesn't want to be involved with such unhealthy product marketed for the youth. He also rejected being sponsored by Monster drink.

Probably someone could find better sources, but this is not a secret, at least in Spain, where he is collaborating with a company making a natural energy drink (or so).

This isn't a hamburger, where Newey just walks in and whispers the recipie for the secret sauce.
lol. Marko said it's a hamburger.

In fact, Marko went back in time and recalled that it was thanks to the hiring of the British engineer (who joined the team in 2006) that Red Bull began to stand out within motorsport.

"The most important thing was to sign Adrian Newey, because he was the only one in the team who had experience of winning championships," confesses the team's advisor on the Inside Line F1 podcast.
Still needed time to cook the hamburger lol.

What do you mean who cares what Max wants? Red Bull cares, Helmut cares, Christian cares. They want Max to be happy in the team.
You don't hire a driver based on what the other driver thinks. That is a recipie for failure.
We all know that, but it doesn't mean that teams don't do this.

Drugovich did very well in FP1 for someone who is only driving this car for the second time this year.
Maybe if the driver pairing had been Alonso and Drugo, the team might have had a few more points in the constructors' standings (which won't make much difference anyway).

Drugovich has shown maturity but needs a strong sponsor to get a seat. Even so, if one of Lance or Alonso frees up a seat then I think Tsunoda will have a better chance than Drugovich being , that he is a protégé of Honda and that, if he does not get a seat at RB, they will push to put him at Aston.

He has strong sponsors (XP Investimentos, Banco Master, Porto and Localiza - All of these he achieved after the F2 champ). But he doesn't have a manager with good contacts in F1 (his manager is the same as Felipe Nasr, who left F1 and never returned even though he was clearly a high-level driver). F2 CEO Bruno Michel said he had to introduce Drugovich to team bosses during the 2022 F2 season because none of the team bosses knew him...

Alonso after FP1 : “This is the worst car I have ever driven”

I hope that new simulator pulls a miracle so we can end in a better note this season

Does anyone else find it a little bit odd that Alonso suddenly seems very forthright with his criticism of the car and team in the last two races? Considering they have got Newey and Cardille coming, as well as Cowell having just started, and it's the end of the season, I would have thought he might just have mentally checked out of this year and focusing on next year...

Just seems slightly jarring considering the context? Maybe I'm reading too much into it. But why would you want to potentially upset the team when good things are around the corner?

It usually preceeds him ultimately leaving, if the statements get much stronger that is.

There's an RBR potentially available next year :D along with FB as personal manager and deal maker.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Alonso is frustrated at how bad and unpredictable the car is track to track. From his vantage point, the car has a mind of its own and does whatever it wants. The team would have to have fairly thin skin to be upset over a rant and the obvious.
