Wow, I don't want to Jinx it, but over a lap we look dominant here.

So far practises show a dominant Mclaren but on the other hand it's just practise and teams might find more time between practise and qualifications.

I stand correct. Conditions or set up changes might have changed things but let's see Q2 and Q3.

Time for Q3 and see if we can show some of the car's speed.

Good final saturday to finish the year off, but the main course is tomorrow. Hopefully a straightforward race for once.

Nicely done team.

Just execute a clean race tomorrow - don’t even have to fight anyone crazy for the win- bring it home.

With Charles starting position, I'd would have to be the mother of all f ups to lose the constructors.

Dominant 1-2 when it counted, looking forward to seeing how this translates in the race.

Would require a McLaren DNF and horrible luck for the other one pretty much.

I think throwing this away might even be beyond Mclaren 😂🫣

How much are we down on the straights compared to others? I thought I lip read lando saying "we are slower than everyone" to oscar at the end there

Quite a bit actually, close to 10kph down on the top. But hey, RedBull used to win races with ease at that same deficit early 2010s

Leave it up to the script writers to find a way to make this “exciting” tomorrow.

That should do it. Very good lap by Lando. McLaren didn't show their hand till the very end. Nicely done. Should be a straightforward WCC tomorrow.

Wouldn't matter because McL in race trim can easily make up like 0.5s in S3 alone.

Hopefully so. Just the way in which he said it looked slightly concerned by it.

I agree. If we can make the 1/2 stick through turn one and get out of drs we should move out of sight
