It’s ridiculous how going wide in one turn is punished, while going wide in another turn is accepted. I’ve seen MANY cars run wide in the last corner. Max in Q2 as well.
Rules are rules...
Even if he gained no time, he exceeded track limits
Who are you talking to? I say if you punish first corner then punish final corner too!!!!!

I mean that in out case we exceeded track limits.
So we know that we will not be favored...
We saw before how Piastri's lap has been considered legal 🤣

Pitlane start with new ICE and Turbo and a smaller wing is a must now.
I don't think they will do it

No other sensible choice now. Pit lane start and turn everything up to 11.

Why waste money from the budget cap on fighting for the WCC in the last race when the chances are already so low as it is. Might as well just save the money for development.

Lando's penalty in Qatar must have been repaid

It is not like Ferrari is short on money. Unless this somehow makes them exceed their budget cap, they will do it.

They have take the smallest chance they have available. If a lucky safety car / red flag shakes out tomorrow for Charles, he will be the only one in the top teams with fresh softs and a brand new ice which can be amped up.

oh.. is that the case ?
delta under budget cap will be carried over to next year ?
is that how the cost cap works ? I know the square root of jack about this, hence curious to know.

I thought engine was exempt from cost cap until 2026. Is that not the case?

All we need is a reverse of Singapore 2017 where the McLarens squeeze Hulk and both get taken out, then Sainz to cruises to the win from the 2nd row.

That isn't too much to ask for, right?.... Right?

The whole idea of changing all the PU components does not make sense, because Sainz is not on pole, and our main rivals start from the front row and have a 21-point advantage and also a good car. The Reds do not have a dominant pace, and the field is quite dense at the moment, without a group of frankly slow cars. It will not be possible to start from the last row to overtake all of them like a hot knife through butter and take the top places on the podium. In WCC, Ferrari will take a place corresponding to the level of their car.
Of course anything is possible in a race, suddenly Norris's engine burns out, and Oscar's wing is broken at the start or he punctures his tire. But if you count on such an outcome, then there is no need to change Charles's engine.
